The terms also wants to make sure that your application does not breach intellectual property, i.e. you are following  license agreements for all the pieces of code you need in your project.

In order to have your application showcased on the Qt Project Showroom site, you have to accept the following terms:

Make sure you are submitting an application that you have the right to submit. In case of commercial applications, you are someone who can represent the party that has made the application. In case of open source software, please provide the necessary links for us to verify that the application is open source.

When you submit an application to Qt Showroom, you must have the rights to the material you are submitting.Please do not submit material that may infringe on other peoples’ intellectual property.

The Qt Showroom is a public Internet site which showcases applications made with Qt. Qt Showroom is not a marketplace, shop or download location. Qt Showroom does however provide links to other sites that host applications for download.

Qt Showroom does not own or hold any rights to the applications presented on Qt Showroom, the applications are owned by the application developer. The application developer who submits the application to Qt Showroom must make sure that they are not breaching any third party’s immaterial rights.

Qt Showroom will take down any material that is in breach of a third party’s rights.

We make every effort to keep the information on our website current, but accept no liability whatsoever for the content provided.
